Les Menuires, a high-altitude resort in Les 3 Vallées, France, has announced details for its spring events, catering to a range of interests from adrenaline-fueled sporting challenges to relaxing wellness retreats. According to planetski.eu, the resort will host the La Masse event and the Yogiski program.
La Masse – 4th Edition
Scheduled for Saturday, March 21st, La Masse is a multi-discipline event that challenges participants to descend the slopes from La Pointe de la Masse at 2,804m. The 5+ km descent includes obstacles and entertainment. There are two course options:
- 'Barjo' Run: A solo descent for experienced participants (born in 2011 or earlier).
- 'Mollo' Run: A more relaxed descent in teams of three (born in 2017 or earlier).
The village of La Croisette will host competitors and spectators. The event includes food stalls and a prize-giving ceremony with €6,000 in prize money. According to Les Menuires, prizes include holidays in Les Menuires and winter sports equipment, plus awards for best costume and giveaways.

YOGISKI – Ski, Yoga and Nature – April 10-16th
Yogiski returns for its 10th year, combining relaxation, yoga, and connection with nature in Les Menuires and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Katy Dartford from PlanetSKI participated last winter, highlighting the combination of yoga and skiing.
The week includes well-being activities:
- First track with yoga session at 2,800 meters
- Tai Chi, Ayurveda, and plantar reflexology workshops
- Sound baths and candle-lit yin yoga sessions
A highlight of Yogiski is the yoga hike to the Lac du Lou mountain refuge. Participants ascend on snowshoes at sunset, followed by a hatha yoga session and a vegetarian meal at the refuge. The evening concludes with a descent under the stars.
Two expert ambassadors will guide participants:
- Caroline Perrineau: A Parisian yogi with over 100,000 subscribers, specializing in Vinyasa yoga, movement neurology, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and mental health.
- Mathilde Guibert: Founder of Solstice 108, offering inclusive practice accessible to all levels.
Classes are free with sign-up at the Tourist Office (maximum 5 activities per person during the week).
